Volunteers

St. Joseph Catholic School appreciates volunteer assistance in many areas of the school.  Their help and support are one more way the school family thrives.  Volunteer opportunities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting teachers in the classroom
• Lunchroom assistance
• Library/computer assistance
• Classroom material preparation
• Serving on one of the many school committees
• Helping at school events
• Coaching sports teams

There are also regular committees that meet to advance the mission of the school. These are:

• Charger Parent Organization
• School Spiritual Life committee
• Technology committee
• School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC)
• Board of Education
• Public Relations committee

Please note:  In accordance with the policy of the Archdiocese of Dubuque, all school volunteers must complete a VIRTUS training class and background check before working with minors in any of the school programs.
